INDUSTRIAL ROLL PRESS FOR BRIQUETTING OF HEAVY
CHEMICALS & MINERALS
Fitzpatrick has combined 40 years of compaction
experience into an industrial series of briquetting/compacting machines
for heavy-duty applications
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES OF THE IRP 2550
A survey of the industrial marketplace and users of industrial briquetting
and compaction equipment reveal several key areas where new innovative
features would offer significant benefits to our customers. These key
areas and the unique features which were designed into the IRP line are
described below.
Ease of Access for Maintenance
- Feed System pivots up to provide maximum access
to the rolls
- Side seals can quickly and easily be accessed
for inspection and maintenance
- The roll assemblies slide out on tracks provided
by the framework
- The tires are designed to be replaced by the
customer at their location following standard practices
Robust Yet Simple Design
- Cylinders are mounted inside the frame for
maximum integrity
- Base is constructed of heavy-duty structural
beam & channel
Efficient Operation
- Unique control system optimizes the operation
to provide uniform pressure on the product and produces the optimum
briquette or compact thickness
- Water cooled rolls are provided as a standard
to handle a wide variety of materials
- Dual output gearbox is used to insure the pockets
on the rolls are exactly aligned
Reduced Inventory Costs
- A minimum number of unique parts are used to
reduce inventory carrying costs
- The roll sleeves are oversized and in certain
cases, the roll O.D. and pockets can be re-machined to provide extended
life of the roll sleeves
Economical Machine with Short Delivery
- Feed options allow selection of the most economical
feed system which is able to provide the required process benefits for
the desired application
- Standard design utilizing a few unique components
allows quick manufacturing and assembly of this equipment
